Meaning of church name | 본 교회의 이름
뉴욕백민교회는 한국선교 100주년을 기념하여, 뉴욕서노회가 설립한 교회로 그 이름에는 세 가지 뜻이 있습니다.
- The hope of a pure community of faith, washed in the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, and clothed in white robes. (Revelation 7) | 어린 양 예수 그리스도의 보혈로 씻음 받아 희어진 옷을 입은 순수 신앙 공동체로의 소망 (요한계시록 7장)

Goal & Philosophy | 목적과 이념
본 교회는 개혁주의 신앙에 입각하여 웨스트민스터 신앙고백서를 우리의 신조로 받으며, 예수 그리스도 중심의 예배, 교육, 선교 및 친교와 봉사를 통하여, 하나님 나라 건설을 이념으로 삼고 있습니다.
말씀의 가르침을 따라 삼위일체 하나님을 경외하며, 그리스도를 증거하고, 참된 그리스도인의 인격을 형성함으로, 인화와 협동을 통해 하나님의 형상인 사람을 이해하고 사랑하며, 복음에 기초한 생의 목표를 설정하고 맡은 바 일에 충실한 생활인이 되며, 구체적으로 제자의 삶, 청소년 복음화, 세계 선교를 이루는데 이바지함을 목적으로 삼습니다.
We are a church of the Reformed faith, receiving the Westminster Confession of Faith as our creed, with the goal of building the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ-centered worship, education, mission, and fellowship and service.
Our purpose is to revere the Triune God according to the teaching of the Word; to witness to Christ; to form true Christian character; to understand and love people as the image of God through interaction and cooperation; to set gospel-based goals for life and to be faithful in our assigned tasks; and to contribute specifically to discipleship, youth evangelization, and world mission.
